GenAlive is all about seeking revival as a way of life.

Dave and Connie Burgess are the Founders/Directors of GenAlive. They have been involved in ministry for over 25 years. This includes inner healing and deliverance ministry since 1999 and Sozo since April of 2010 after receiving training at Bethel. For three months in 2013, Connie interned at Bethel Transformation Center, and later completed three years at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. In addition to their Sozo training, Dave holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, and Connie a Master’s Degree in Social Work. They are graduates of Bethel’s Global Legacy Leader Development Program and are both ordained through The River Revival Network.

Dave and Connie are the Bethel Sozo Regional Facilitators for Southern California and Arizona. As RF's, they develop and train Sozo teams across those regions. A huge piece of their heart is to build relationships with these teams, and to support and build them up. They are passionate about seeing people live in freedom, experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, and rest in the warmth of the Father. They love the way the Sozo ministry can rapidly target the root cause of an issue and powerfully, yet gently, destroy the enemy's work.

Through GenAlive, in addition to Sozo activities, they have led mission trips to the Philippines, held worship events, and supported missionary efforts. They also served briefly as pastors in Arizona, including several years of house church leadership.

They have a married son and daughter, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They love to binge watch British murder/detective shows and to travel the world.
